Tina Alster, MD
Tina Alster, M.D. is a world-renowned lecturer and author on cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. She is the director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery which she founded in 1990 and is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University. A magna cum laude graduate of Duke University and its medical school, Dr. Alster completed her dermatology residency at Yale University and a coveted dermatologic surgery fellowship in Boston.
Dr. Alster has published over 250 manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals and authored six textbooks on the subject of dermatologic laser surgery. She actively serves on several medical editorial and advisory boards, including the Sturge-Weber Foundation and Dermatology Foundation, and was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. She has received numerous honors and awards for her contributions to the field, including the prestigious Leon Goldman Lectureship Award from the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery in 2001. Dr. Alster sits on the Board of Visitors for Duke University where she established a scholarship endowment for women wishing to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Alster serves as the consulting dermatologist to Lancôme, assisting with new product development and industry direction. She has been issued patents leading to the development of the popular BooBoo Buddies and BeautyKool Masque, to help patients better cope with laser and other surgical treatments.
Dr. Alster has given many television, radio, magazine and newspaper interviews, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time, Newsweek, US News & World Report, Vogue, Allure, Town & Country, Self and appearances on Oprah, Today Show, CNN, 20/20, Dateline, and Discovery Channel.
Edward J. Domanskis, MD
Dr. Edward J. Domanskis has a special interest and expertise in body contouring, especially after bariatric surgery since his first procedure more than 15 years ago. Dr. Domanskis practices plastic and cosmetic surgery in Southern California and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Since 1982, he has been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Having completed his post-graduate medical education in Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, he served as the Assistant Chief of Plastic Surgery at the 2nd General Hospital in the U.S.Army. He has been Chief of Plastic Surgery at several hospitals including Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach. He continues as Consultant to the Ministry of Health of Lithuania since 1990 as well as the official Physician of the Lithuanian Olympic Team, most recently participating in the Athens Summer Olympics.
For his world-wide humanitarian work, Dr.Domanskis received a commendation from the president of Lithuania in 1992 and was awarded the highest medal by the Prime Minister in 1996. The title of Chevalier was bestowed upon him by the Confraternity of the Knights of the Most Holy Trinity in Germany in 1995.
Ronald E. Goldstein, DDS
Dr. Ronald Goldstein is currently Clinical Professor of Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Augusta, Georgia, an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, a visiting professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging and Continuing Education at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, an Adjunct Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas and formerly a Special Lecturer in Esthetic Dentistry at Emory University School of Dentistry, Atlanta, Georgia. He is a contributor to ten books and author of the book Esthetics in Dentistry, published by J.B. Lippincott Company. He is co-author of other books, including: Bleaching Teeth, Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Porcelain and Composite Inlays & Onlays, and the newly released Complete Dental Bleaching, all published by Quintessence Publishing Company. His best-selling consumer book, Change Your Smile, now in its third edition, is also published by Quintessence, and has been read by over 1,000,000 people.
Dr. Goldstein served three years as resident dental consultant and produced over seventy consumer-oriented programs on all phases of dentistry for the popular television feature "P.M. Magazine". He has also been featured in twenty-nine different dental-related video productions consisting of over forty clinical teaching hours. His film "Anterior Fixed Restoration Esthetic Principles," made for the American Dental Association, was the winner of the 1982 John Muir Medical Film Festival Award for Dentistry.
Dr. Goldstein is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, The International College of Dentists, an Honorable Fellow of the Georgia Dental Association, and an honorary member of O.K.U. Scholastic Fraternity. He is also a member of the American Association for Dental Research and The International Association for Dental Research. In 1986, Dr. Goldstein was elected to the National Academies of Practice as a Distinguished Practitioner. In 1992, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry awarded him the first Charles L. Pincus Award for his contributions to Esthetic Dentistry. The same year, he was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry Award from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He is co-founder and past-president of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, a past-president of Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and the fifth District Dental Society in Atlanta, Georgia. He also is a member of The International Academy of Gnathology, and the American Academy of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics.
Wendy Lewis, MD
Wendy Lewis is an international insider to the world of skincare and beauty who is currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of Wendy Lewis & Co Ltd. In 2001, she was selected as the Skincare Expert for the UK's biggest retailer, Boots & Co.
She is a columnist for YOU, the Mail on Sunday, and writes features for the Financial Times, Tatler, Russian Vogue, Medesthetics and other consumer and trade publications. She is an Associate Editor for Aesthetic Buyers Guide, and a Contributing Editor to Plastic Surgery Products. Ms. Lewis is the author of 10 consumer health and beauty books, including two editions of America’s Cosmetic Doctors & Dentists (Castle Connolly), and her newest title, Plastic Makes Perfect; The Complete Cosmetic Beauty Guide (Orion). Adam J. Rubinstein, MD
Dr. Rubinstein is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has trained with the world's eminent surgeons at the forefront of developing techniques for plastic surgery. Dr. Rubinstein is a clinical instructor in the Department of Surgery at NOVA Southeastern University, and clinical faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Plastic Surgery Residency Program in Florida, as well as the exclusive plastic surgeon for the Pritikin Longevity Center. Dr. Rubinstein currently serves on the editorial staff of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal published by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
